Time goes by......

Its been over a year since we made our last trip to Datca and we are really missing the beautiful sea, sun and people.  The garden has been growing thanks to Gail and Harry taking extra special care of it for us and its all looking lovely.

The house has moved on since last year,we actually have furniture now (yay!) .    But that never stopped us enjoying the fantastic views across the countryside and the sea views.

Datca...............our wee bit of paradise

Holiday Heaven

Just back from our house in the sun, nipped over to Datca,Turkey  for a quick week to catch up on what's been going on since our last visit...way back in October 2012.

There is a lot of work going on in Datca, all aimed at improving the town.  Two new marinas, refurbished  promenades and smart new walkways are just a few of the developments taking place.

Sorry folks, I have neglected to update my blog over the past few months.  All is going well, we are very nearly complete, just a few snags to sort and then happily we can start to enjoy our holiday home with family.

Time is flying by and soon it'll be time for our next visit to Datca to see how our own house restoration is coming along.   In the meantime, heres the latest photos....   Its Bayram so work has stopped on the house for a short time for celebrations.
